On the 8th of November 2022, the E-TANDEM project had its virtual kick-off meeting, where partners had the opportunity to present themselves to the group and described their roles and activities, to kick-start this innovative project!
The E-TANDEM project will develop the first direct process for the selective production of carbon-neutral e-fuels from CO2, water, and renewable sources, for the marine and heavy-duty transport sectors.
E-TANDEM joins a multi-disciplinary consortium with 4 Universities, 3 R&D Institutes, 4 companies, including 8 European partners located in Spain, Germany, Denmark, the Netherlands, Croatia, and Austria, and two non-European partners located in Saudi Arabia and South Africa, to unlock the production of carbon-neutral fuels.
In addition to partner presentations, all work package leaders presented the respective aims and objectives, giving attendees a closer look at the activities planned for the next period. The meeting was fruitful and insightful, and it set a strong foundation for future collaborations.
