We are pleased to announce that the E-TANDEM project has been invited to participate in a Horizon Europe (HE) Cluster Meeting focused on Maritime Fuels and Biomethane projects. This important cluster event is being organized by the European Climate, Infrastructure and Environment Executive Agency (CINEA) and will address the critical challenges and emerging opportunities for technological advancements that contribute towards the European Union’s ambitious targets for climate neutrality.
The event will bring together 33 innovative projects working in the aviation and maritime fuels sector, aiming to foster collaboration and knowledge exchange across the field. These projects, like E-TANDEM, are at the forefront of developing alternative fuels and sustainable solutions to reduce the environmental impact of the aviation and shipping industry—one of the most energy-intensive sectors globally.
Representing the E-TANDEM project at this cluster meeting is Dr. Gonzalo Prieto, the project coordinator from CSIC. Dr. Prieto will present the progress of E-TANDEM and engage in discussions on how the project’s groundbreaking work in electrification technologies for maritime vessels aligns with the EU’s broader goals for decarbonization and sustainable energy. The meeting will provide a valuable opportunity to showcase the project’s contributions and build synergies with other key stakeholders working on cutting-edge aviation and maritime fuel solutions.
