DTU Team brings E-TANDEM to new audiences through outreach and education

March 2025

As part of the E-TANDEM project’s dissemination and outreach efforts, the Technical University of Denmark (DTU) team actively engaged with younger audiences and future scientists through two exciting events in March.

At the Copenhagen DOX Documentary Film Festival, Anke Hagen introduced high school students to the world of hydrogen technologies. After a screening of the thought-provoking documentary “Hydrogen: Revolution or Illusion”, around 450 students attended Anke Hagen’s presentation, which explored the science, challenges, and opportunities behind hydrogen-based solutions — including insights from the E-TANDEM project. The session sparked curiosity and conversation about the role of hydrogen in the green transition.

Additionally, DTU welcomed four high school students participating in SRP-Øvelse, a final cross-disciplinary school project involving hands-on experiments and lectures. Anke Hagen and Pernille Gøtz guided the students through practical exercises related to energy and hydrogen technologies, with E-TANDEM presented as part of the introductory lecture. The activity offered students a unique opportunity to connect theoretical knowledge with real-world research and innovation.

Both initiatives reflect DTU’s and E-TANDEM’s commitment to knowledge sharing, public engagement, and inspiring the next generation of energy researchers and innovators.
