E-TANDEM has achieved an important project milestone centered around the operability of the Hardware-in-the-Loop test bench, thanks to the design and work of partner T4F.
The test bench is meticulously designed to study fuel-material interactions with the innovative higher oxygenated diesel-like e-fuel (HOEF) in real-world field applications.
A notable aspect is the adaptation of the standard passenger car test bench into an off-road system, demonstrating a heightened level of versatility. Moreover, the refinement of the test bench parameters has resulted in a reduction of the required fuel amount, a strategic adjustment tailored to effectively address the challenges associated with lower fuel quantities inherent in novel fuels.
