This year’s Annual Meeting on Reaction Engineering and Electrochemical Processes took place in Würzburg, Germany under the title “Electrifying the Chemical Industry”. More than 400 experts from universities, research institutes and industry met to present their research, exchanged ideas and shared new developments and latest results in the field of reaction engineering and electrochemical processes. The main topics this year were kinetics and mass and energy transport, reactor and cell design and scale-up, cross-scale diagnostics, process dynamics and industrial applications.
Hannah Stieber from partner MPG participated in this conference with a poster presenting the concept and results of the E-TANDEM project, focusing on the scale-up to a continuous setup. The topic of E-Tandem was a great fit with this year’s conference themes and therefore attracted a lot of questions and interest.
