Sustainable Development and Planning 2024 aims to highlight energy-saving designs, green building practices and the integration of new methodologies to enhance sustainable planning and development efforts worldwide. The paper presented on the environmental footprint of diesel fuel in the marine sector is highly relevant to this event as it addresses key issues of resource efficiency and emissions reduction in a critical global industry.
Partners UZ and GF gave an oral presentation of a paper entitled “Environmental footprint of diesel fuel in the shipping sector”. Since Maja Perčić (UZ) is mostly engaged in performing LCA, she has attended the event. There were no other Horizon Europe projects / projects with similair topics that related to alternative fuels in the shipping sector. The estimation of attendees were around 90-100 participants.
